• Provisioning Storage (SAN /NAS - (CIFS/NFS) )

• Managing Replication

• Troubleshooting issues with refresh scripts

• Managing Filers / Vfilers

• Fiber Switch Management

• Reporting

• Storage Monitoring

• Ontap Upgrades

• DR Activities

• Migrations

• Support 24x7 On-Call / night shifts

• Performing Audits on Storage Arrays

Essential Knowledge

• Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of ONTAP 7-mode and C- Mode

• iSCSI/NFS/CIFS/SAN technologies

• NDMP backups and recovery,

• Snap manager for Oracle and exchange

• Snapmirror, SnapVault, Flexclone

• Fiber Channel and iSCSI connections from Unix and Windows hosts.

• Experience in Migrations from 7 Mode to C Mode

Other Qualifications

Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work, and multitask
Good analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
Good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers
Basic skills in integrating distributed computing hardware and software systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment

Office environment
May require on-call, shift, weekend and evening work
