Job Description:
Minimum Qualifications:
BS level technical degree required; Master’s in computer science (or similar technical background) preferred
Prior experience in architecting, developing and/or maintaining solutions in the Google Cloud Platform.
Prior experience in an account management, client service and/or management consulting role.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges
In-depth technical and analytical, possessing 8 or more years of IT infra implementation experience
Deep hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale
Experience reading/writing software code in one or more language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, node.js, etc.
Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years’ experience leading cloud transformation projects with a top consulting or Professional Services group
Ability to work with DXC partners, system integrators and 3rd-party developers to deliver effective customer solutions
Ability to work in a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team with a continuously evolving delivery framework.
Strong track record of implementing GCP (or other cloud) services in a variety of distributed computing environments
Prior experience partnering with customers to manage and deliver successful migrations to public cloud solutions
Integration of GCP cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead effectively across various teams
Experience in using industry leading tools and technologies for cloud management (monitoring, patching, backup, log file management, end point protection, IDS, IPS etc)
Experience using ITSM tools like ServiceNow
Experience in Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc)
Experience in planning and implementing Disaster Recovery on Cloud
Experience in migrating workloads from on-premise to GCP cloud using leading tools and technologies.
Certifications:
Prof Level Cloud Architect Certification in GCP (must-have)
Either of the AWS or Azure Prof-Level Cloud Architect certifications (nice-to-have)
Nice to haves include DevOps certification, networking and security cloud certifications, etc.
