Roles and Responsibilites:
Technically able to understand customer requirements and design solutions to meet the demand.
Excellent in preparing LLD, HLD and Migration/Transition documentation and Architectural Methodology.
Architect optimized solution for VDI Implementation and able to make necessary document and present to customer.
Must have good knowledge on hardware sizing on Compute, Storage and Network for VDI solutions.
Expertise in implementing VDI solution in Cloud (Azure, AWS, Citrix Cloud & Horizon Cloud), Integrating On-Prem with Cloud with various scenarios, Migrating users from on-prem to cloud.
Experience in Server Virtualization technologies like Microsoft (Microsoft Hyper-V), VMWare hypervisor and Citrix XenServer
Strong in-depth experience on Desktop Virtualization using VMWare Horizon View, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (formerly known as XenDesktop/XenApp) & MS WVD with Nerdio Manager
Strong knowledge on Designing Access layer solution using Citrix and VMWare technology in On-prem, Cloud (Azure, AWS, Citrix Cloud & Horizon Cloud) and Hybrid deployments. Should have an experience in GSLB solution.
Experience in Automation and orchestration using PowerShell.
Knowledge on application delivery methods and packaging using App-V, Citrix App Layering, Numecent Cloudpaging, VMware App Volumes etc.
Have Good understanding on user persona management (Citrix UPM & WEM, VMware DEM, Ivanti UEM/AppSense, MS FSLogix etc.), Disaster Recovery and Microsoft domain infrastructure (AD, FS etc.) in VDI world
Very good knowledge on Identity management and all security aspects in VDI world.
Take initiative to create enhancements in solution stack and contribute to implement the same.
Good in documentations and maintain artifacts, making presentation for customer needs.
Provide support to BAU team where needed during implementation and steady state support.
Participate in various sustain engineering activities and contribute in same.
Technical Skills:
Able to manage implementation activities end to end on the Virtualization Solutions using Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, VMware Horizon, MS WVD, Citrix Cloud & Horizon Cloud.
Good Knowledge & Hands on experience on VDI monitoring and management tools like Lakeside Systrack, Citrix MAS/ADM, Citrix Director .etc.
Good Knowledge & Hands on experience on Application Virtualization using App V, Numecent Cloudpaging, Citrix App Layering & VMware App Volumes .etc.
Good Knowledge & Hands on experience on User persona management using Citrix UPM & WEM, VMware DEM, Ivanti UEM/AppSense, MS FSLogix etc.
Good Knowledge & Hands on experience on Citrix NetScaler solution.
Knowledge and experience with Compute, Network, Storage technologies and data center operations.
Experience in implementing server/storage solutions in support of virtualized platforms will be an added plus
Working knowledge of high availability (HA) and business continuity (BC) from a technology and business process perspective, experience in PHP/RTPA process.
